Africa holds a special place in my heart, as I have Nigerian roots. When I think of this magical and captivating continent, a flood of emotions follows.
My first journey to Africa began in 2018 with a memorable road trip across Morocco. Traveling as a duo, it was my introduction to the rich landscapes and cultures of North Africa.
In 2019, I returned to North Africa twice – for wedding related events in Morocco then Tunisia. Soon after, I went on a series of unforgettable African adventures. A thrilling safari in Kenya, the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar, the stunning coastlines of Seychelles, the charm of Mauritius, and the timeless wonders of Giza in Egypt.
It wasn’t until the end of 2023 that I truly committed to exploring Africa with a fresh perspective. Initially hesitant due to safety misconceptions, I was determined to connect with the continent of my ancestors. This led to a string of solo adventures across Southern and Eastern Africa.
I enjoyed the grandeur of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and braved the exhilarating swim on the Zambian side. Botswana’s remarkable wildlife, South Africa’s wine, culture, and stunning landscapes, the awe-inspiring dunes of Sossusvlei in Namibia, and the life-changing gorilla tracking in Uganda. All added to my growing love for this diverse continent.
Six years after my first trip, I’ve now visited 16 African countries, and it has become my favorite destination for exploration.
If you’re seeking a transformative travel experience beyond the usual routes, Africa is where you’ll find it.
